Dance Workshop
JSI is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for all dance enthusiasts! Open to both members and non members. We are pleased to welcome Ryan Jenkins, original cast member of the acclaimed musical 'Wicked', to our studio. On Sunday, 2nd February 2025, Ryan will conduct a unique dance workshop that promises to inspire and energise participants of all skill levels.
Ryan has taught all over the world from L.A, Italy, Denmark, to UK’s top training colleges: Bird College, The Urdang academy, London studio Centre, L.I.P.A and the world famous, Pineapple studios.

The Sound of Music
The inspirational story, based on the memoir of Maria Augusta Trapp, follows an ebullient postulate who serves as governess to the seven children of the imperious Captain von Trapp, bringing music and joy to the household. But as the forces of Nazism take hold of Austria, Maria and the entire von Trapp family must make a moral decision.
Open audition workshops will be held in St Macartan's Hall for performers aged between 10 and 18 years.

TEEN EDITION
Set amidst the razzle-dazzle decadence of the 1920s, CHICAGO is the story of night club singer Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart, a housewife who murders her on-the-side lover after he threatens to walk out on her. Desperate to avoid conviction, she dupes the public, the media and her rival cellmate, Velma, by hiring Chicago’s slickest criminal lawyer, Billy Flynn, to transform her deed into a barrage of sensational headlines, the likes of which might just as easily be ripped from today’s tabloids…
Open audition workshops will be held in The MAC Theatre, Belfast for performers aged between 14 and 18 years.

The Wizard of Oz
L. Frank Baum’s beloved story of a young girl’s adventure in a magical land has been entertaining audiences for over a century. MGM’s blockbuster 1939 film adaptation, featuring the timeless songs of Harold Arlen and E.Y. Harburg, along with the brilliant instrumental music of Herbert Stothart, elevated the popular novel to even greater heights. This stage adaptation, featuring the characters and celebrated songs from the film, brings the wondrous Land of Oz to life in a jubilant theatrical experience.
Open audition workshops will be held in The Marketplace Theatre for performers aged between 8 and 18 years.

Ksenia is the United Kingdom and British Closed Latin Professional Champion and holds the Latin Show Dance Title, and has had the pleasure of touring with Brendan Cole's 'A Night To Remember’ production. For 3 seasons Ksenia was a Professional dancer and choreographer on Dancing With The Stars Ireland and most recently she assisted In choreographing the Argentine Tangos on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing. Ksenia is currently touring with the Ballroom Boys Act 2.
Budding young stars aged 9-18 are invited to sign up for an Elite Urban Music video in Belfast.

Christmas Charity Single now available to buy!
Just Stage It Academy is helping to raise money for Cash for Kids Mission Christmas, in association with Cool FM, with the release of their first single. All the proceeds from the online sale of the track will be donated to the Cash for Kids Mission Christmas appeal, which raises money to provide Christmas gifts for local children living in poverty.
As Featured in the Belfast Telegraph, this Christmas project has been Directed by Ksenia Zsikhotska from RTE’s Dancing with the Stars and produced by JSI’s Artistic Director Amy Barr.

Time stood still, but nothing can stop our academy from working its magic to bring people together and share their talents with the world.
This was a tribute to all the Key Workers who are doing an incredible job! Miracles do happen you just need to believe.
JSI students were very privileged to have been taught the beautiful choreography online with the amazing Ksenia Zsikhotska.

What we do
Just Stage It Academy is an international award winning school of performing arts. The Just Stage It Academy gives children and young adults with an interest in theatre and performing arts fantastic experience and excellent training at all levels of ability. The academy has performed on London's WestEnd, Broadway NYC, Disneyland Paris, and many venues around Ireland, including The Grand Opera House and The Lyric Theatre in Belfast.
JSI has enjoyed working with Ksenia this autumn and winter and is looking forward to continuing the collaboration in the coming months. Ksenia has a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the performing arts Industry and brings great enthusiasm to her role as a teacher.
